As a life-long gardener, Lorraine Roberts has a wealth of knowledge in the field of horticulture and has written gardening articles for magazines and is author of the book, A Recipe for Continuous Bloom. Lorraine Roberts speaks at Canada Blooms, garden conferences and many horticultural societies. . Lorraine grows thousands of perennials every year and is dedicated to promoting organic gardening as a way to heal the planet by providing an inspirational and educational experience that connects you to the natural world.

Lorraine and her husband, Robert, own and operate Plant Paradise Country Gardens which has been featured in the Toronto Star, and magazines that include: Escarpment Views, In the Hills and Caledon Living. The Canadian Wildlife Federation has recognized Plant Paradise Country Gardens as a Certified Backyard Habitat for the creation of habitat and wildlife gardens.

We had the pleasure of having Lorraine present at the Applewood Garden Club on the topic of "Creating a Perennial Garden of Continuous Bloom". Lorraine and her presentation were full of enthusiasm, unique and educational ideas and facts, along with supporting graphics. The abundance of ideas, and information were only exceeded by her enthusiasm, and true passion.
